Ava August, then 14 She performed for an SOLD-OUT crowd in the 30,000 people at Staples Center before the Los Angeles Kings hockey game. Ava August was recruited and scheduled to perform by the Los Angeles Dodgers and L.A. Galaxy, professional baseball and soccer teams, respectively, but COVID-19 pandemic forced cancellations of those scheduling. Ava August was the youngest performer on American Idol's 19th season aged 15. Ava received the GOLDENTICKET in the Audition Round. After that, the Genre, Showstoppers, Duets, Celebrity/Solo and the Top 16 rounds were played. America decided to put Ava to the TOP 10 in the country. Ava August sang two originals on American Idol - Neighbor Boy and Ghost of You. Ava sang a duet that is incredibly strong together with Josh Groban, an internationally-acclaimed performer. Ava released her critically acclaimed song Daybreak in the year 15. The song was released with her debut animated music video. The song premiered on 11/01/20.
