Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills Queens New York. Before she finished junior high, she moved out of Queens into Dix Hills Long Island. She has two younger siblings and a brother who is older. When she was between the ages of 9 between the ages of 16 and 19 Her first introduction to the industry was when she started modeling. Ron Stetson trained her in the acting techniques of Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. This took about three years. Sandra Bullock was among those who received training in this way, as well as Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. When she moved into Los Angeles, she got her first lead role in Beverly Hills,90210. After being offered the lead part on Johnny Mnemonic where she did majority of the stunts her own, she proved herself as an actress that is athletic. The talent agent she worked with also represented Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent, she was able to secure a role in the show Friends.
